含动物药的中成药用常法灭菌多不符合卫生学标准，经研究先将动物药材用６０钴辐照灭菌后制成的中成药卫生学检查均符合规定的标准。

A Chinese traditional patent medicine with animal ingredient (CTPMAI) treated with common bactericides can hardly reach the requirements set out in the hygiene standard. After years of research work, CTPMAI sterilized by the irradiation of 60 Co are proved to satisfy the hygiene standard via the hygiene inspection.
