Tradition and Modernity in the Tourism Space of Man-long Village

在现代社会大背景下,傣族曼龙村寨在旅游中为游客展示了传统与现代性的完美碰撞。以傣园公司、游客、国家行政权力为代表的现代性力量,在旅游空间中与曼龙村民这一传统力量展开了互动,虽然双方之间存在着各种不平等关系,彼此间地位也相差悬殊,但传统依然以各种方式凸显了自己的力量,尤其是在"后台"的真实生活中,这种力量在某种程度上甚至还成为了主流。

This thesis places Man- long village in an immense modem society and devotes itself to some research on what the traditional Man -long village in a modem tourist space has encountered. Identified with modernity, the agents such as the company of Dai Garden, tourists and state power, are interacting with the traditional forces represented by the villagers of Man -long. Though between them, there exist inequivalent relationship and status, the seemingly weak tradition still manifests its energy in its own way. To some extent, this energy has become a mainstream at the back stage of real life.
