加强农民培训是新农村建设的迫切要求

培育新型农民是新农村建设的关键所在,新型农民要有文化、懂技术、会经营,具备一定的文化素养、技能素质和经营能力,而我国农民普遍受教育程度较低,科技素养较差.研究认为,加强农民培训是新农村建设的迫切需要,可以通过实施"绿色证书工程"、"跨世纪青年农民科技培训工程"、"新型农民创业培植工程"等系列工程的实施,建立健全农民科技教育培训体系,全面推进新型农民科技培训工作.

Training a new type of farmers is the primary task for building a new socialist countryside. A new type of farmers should be educated and understand both agricultural techniques and business management. Farmers in China generally have poor education, so the training for farmers is the urgent and primary task in the course of New Countryside Construction. Through the implementation of ＂Green Certificate Project＂, ＂Scientific Training Project for the Trans--century Young Farmers＂ and ＂Training Project of Starting an Enterprise for New-type Farmers＂, scientific education systems for training farmers are being established, and the work for training new-type farmers is being fully propelled.
