Life cycle impact assessment（LCIA） is the core part of life cycle assessment（LCA）. The concepts, technical steps, and methods of life cycle impact assessment are introduced. On the basis of the above, several typical methods of impact assessment have been focused to be briefly described, and current LCIA methods are also discussed.
