嘉靖《河州志》考述

A Summary of Investigation into Hezhou Annuals in the Period of Jiajing Emperor

嘉靖《河州志》是河州历史上第一部方志,该志成书后曾被多次修订、增补,之后的嘉靖《河州志》内容比原文多出了一倍有余。因此,今日所见嘉靖《河州志》已非初修之版本。嘉靖《河州志》的特点在于:难能可贵的原创性;不可或缺的边镇特色,这其中包括嘉靖《河州志》对于屯田的关注,对于河州卫所规模、里甲、体制等特殊性的记载;鲜活的移民文化;不无遗憾的简约;等等。

Hezhou Annuals written in the period of Jiajing Emperor is the first annuals in Hezhou history. It has been revised and amended many times since its completion. After its revision and amendment, it content is thicker, over twice as much as the original. Therefore, the book we see today is not the edition of the initial revision. Hezhou Annuals is characterized by rare originality, indispensable feature of town in the frontier, of which great concern is shown in garrison troops or peasants opening up wasteland and growing food grain, a record of special aspects including scale, system, fresh and alive culture of migrants, and its conciseness.
