民族关系是在人们的交往联系中,不仅具有社会性,而且具有民族性的社会关系。民族关系的核心涉及民族的地位和待遇、权力和利益、意识和感情。平等、团结、互助、和谐是我国社会主义民族关系的本质特征。

Ethnic relations are social, which possesses social and ethnic features in people＇s communication. The core of them not only relates to ethnic status and treatment, but also concerns with the national rights and interests, and at the same time it involves ethnic consciousness and emotions. Equality, unity, cooperation and harmony are the essential features of socialistic ethnic relations in our country.
