摘要
从"最简主义假设"出发,本文从理论内部和经验证据论证:为了确保词库和运算系统之间的接口处运算的经济性,运算系统在从词汇矩阵LA挑选词汇项目LI进行合并运算时,必须遵守两个原则:一为本文提出的"谓词优先选择原则"——计算系统从词汇矩阵LA中首先必须挑选谓词;二为"题元合并顺序原则"——题元合并的次序受题元阶层(thematic hierarchy)的调节和控制(何晓炜,1999)。同时本文还讨论了该假设所引起的一系列理论和经验上的意义。
Based on minimalist assumptions and taking a theoretico-empirical approach,this paper comes to the conclusion that in selecting lexical items for employment in the derivations,the computational system must observe two principles:(1) the 'predicate first' principle,which dictates that the computational system choose the predicate first,and(2) the 'merging order of arguments' principle,which dictates that the merging order of arguments be controlled and regulated by thematic hierarchy.
