英国开放大学教学质量管理探析

A Probe into the Management of Teaching Quality of British Open Universities

作为世界远程教育的典范,英国开放大学高质量的教学水平已得到世界范围内的认可,其相关举措有:严格质量要求、优化课程资源、严格教师选聘、完善学习服务制度、科研与教学相互促进等。当前我国远程教育质量仍存在较大的提升空间。开放大学的教学质量管理经验对我国远程教育质量保障工作有诸多启示,具体体现在:完善监督机制,制定质量标准;加强教学过程监控,严把质量评价;重视科学研究,实现教研互促。

As a model of long-distance education in the world, the teaching quality of British open universities has got its worldwide recognition. Their relative measures include： being strict with the demand for quality and the employment of teachers, course optimization, perfection of study ＆ service rules, and mutual advance of teaching and academic research. So far, there still exists enough space to improve the teaching quality of long-distance education of China. And the management experience of open universities can be used for reference in guaranteeing teaching quality of the continuation education of our country. Specifically, the following may serve as measures： perfecting the supervision mechanism, setting the quality standards, strengthening the supervision of teaching process, being strict with the quality, paying much attention to academic research and hence benefiting teaching.
