To make the best use of ammunition, the key is to reduce dispersion error of point of impact. An electronic time fuze system can autocorrect its operating time according to the muzzle velocity of the projectile which is measured at firing. To determine operating time, methods for measuring velocity of a projectile and calculation operating time are discussed.
