摘要 采用全球地震台网(GSN)宽频带垂直分向记录,选取P波初至后10分钟的波形,通过远震P波高频辐射能量,估算了2008年5月12日汶川MS8.0地震的震源时间函数、破裂时间和有限地震断层的传播方向。所得结果与其他方法得到的结果大体一致,说明此方法作为一种震源特性的快速粗测方法是可行的。但对于汶川地震这一震例,该方法并不能很好地揭示地震震源过程的细节。 Source time function, rupture duration time, and direction of rupture propagation of the May 12, 2008 Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake were roughly estimated using vertical-component broadband teleseismic P waves 10 minutes after the P-arrival, recorded by the GSN stations. The estimates are consistent with the results from other sources, indicating that this data processing procedure is practical in the rough and quick estimation of the source characteristics of large earthquakes. However, test by the case of the Wenchuan earthquake shows that this method fails to reveal the second-order details of rupture process.
