摘要
科学知识的生产模式问题一直是科学哲学中讨论的重要问题之一。20世纪初,学院科学向后学院科学转变,知识生产模式也发生了变化。GLNSST在《知识的新生产》一书中提出了异于科学知识生产模式1的模式2,并在7年后发表《再看科学》,使其知识生产模式思想得到进一步完善。模式2的特点有应用的语境、跨学科的语境、异质性、自反性和观点多样等。模式2将知识生产置于社会的语境中,填补了社会和科学、学院科学和应用科学分离的鸿沟,使得政府、科研、学校等机构形成一个网络并发挥最大功能,模式2有重大的理论和实践意义。
The mode of knowledge production is one of the issues in the debate of Philosophy of Science. Early in the 20th Century, with the turn from academic science to post-academic science, there was a change of the production of knowledge. The group, GLNSST, brought forth Mode 2 which is different from Mode 1 in The New Production of Knowledge, and seven years later, Mode 2 was perfected further in Re-Thinking Science. This paper points out that Mode 2 has such characteristics as context of application, trans-disciplinary context, heterogeneity of sites and practitioners, social responsibility and reflexivity, and various considerations. It takes the production of knowledge into the context of society, which fills up the gap between society and science, academy science and applied science, thus pro- motes the government, scientific research institutions, universities, etc. to form a net so that they can play their maximal functions. In a word, Mode 2 is significant both theoretically and practically.
