In this one-day seminar, Dr. Terence Sheppard identifies the competency profiles which organisations in the Asia Pacific region require for success in the 21st century. His seminar will teach how to align the HR function, particularly management development, with business strategy in order to convert staff competencies into a primary source of competitive advantage. In addition he introduces the concept of the 'voluntary' organisation as a model for implementing HR best practice. Finally, he explores the reasons why people join an organisation and why they stay as well as the requirements for making any organisation an employer of first choice.
