Deconstruction and construction:comparison between Hans-Georg Gadamer and Jurgen Habermas in their philosophy and translation thoughts

伽达默尔的哲学解释学翻译思想对传统翻译理论中一些盛行的观点进行了解构,但却没有对之进行新的建构,这给翻译研究带来了极大的困难。而哈贝马斯则批判地继承了伽达默尔的翻译思想,他提出的普遍语用学理论不仅很好地填补伽氏翻译思想的不足,而且还对构建新的翻译学体系有着极其深远的影响。

Gadamer＇s philosophical hermeneutic translation thought deconstructed some prevalent viewpoints of traditional translation theory, but did not put forward new ideas, which brought about great difficulties for translation research. Habermas inherited Gadamer translation thought in a critic way. His universal pragmatic theory not only filled the inadequacy of Gadamer＇s translation thought, but produced great influence on the establishment of new translatology system.
