摘要
介绍了大型板坯连铸机中间包冰力学模型的实验研究。根据相似原理,用水模拟钢水在中间包内的流动特征。通过改变三重堰间距、高度和陶瓷过滤器的设计参数,测定停留时间分布曲线,分析了影响中间包内流体流动的因素。该模型的实验结果对生产实际具有指导意义。
Flow pattern and residence time distribution induced by different meth0ds of pour ing of molten steel into a tundish are studied by means of a water model with and with flow modifiers (FM). The effect of FM is found to be different for different designs of flow modi fier. The proper designed filter and dam are found to reduce the dead volume and increase the plug volume.
