Research on Real-time Control of Traffic Lights Based on PLC

提出了一种基于PLC的十字路口交通灯实时控制系统实现方案。该系统可根据十字路口各车道上的车流量大小自动调节红绿灯的时间长度;采用了一种易于实现的车流量检测方法,使得在调节红绿灯时间长度时无需进行复杂计算,从而简化了PLC的程序设计,设计的控制系统具有可靠性高、实时性好的特点。

A real-time control system of crossroads＂ traffic lights based PLC is presented in this paper.This system can automatically allocate the traffic lights＂ working time according to the volume of vehicles,which are detected by an easy to realize method.It doesn＇t need complicated algorithm to ascertain the traffic lights＂ working time, so the program design of PLC is simplified.The control system has characteristics of high reliable and good timeliness.
