近年来的研究表明,低浓度的茶碱具有抗炎和免疫调节作用,这与茶碱可直接激活组蛋白去乙酰化酶(HDAC)有关。HDAC逆转了组蛋白的乙酰化,从而抑制了炎症基因的表达。而茶碱和糖皮质激素(GCS)在抑制炎症基因的表达方面可能起到了协同作用。因而,对于激素抵抗或者激素依赖型哮喘患者,低剂量茶碱的应用可能会改善患者对GCS的反应性,减少GCS的用量。
In recent years, a series of studies have shown that low dose theophylline has the function of anti- inflammation and immune regulation, which is associated with the activation of histone deacetylases (HDAC) by theophylline directly. HDAC reverses histone acetylation, which suppresses the expression of inflammatory genes. Theophylline and corticosteroids may have a synergistic effect in suppressing inflammatory gene expression. And so low dose theophylline may improve the responsiveness to corticosteroids and reduces its dosage in patients with corticosteroid resistance or dependent.
