美育即审美教育,它是运用艺术美,自然美,社会生活美培养受教育者正确的审美观念和感受美、鉴赏美、创造美的能力的教育,它在提高人的素质方面有着其他学科所不可替代的作用。艺术教育是实施美育的主要途径,它包括音乐,美术,舞蹈,戏剧四个内容。如今大部分学校的艺术教育课程中,以音乐、美术的教育为主,对舞蹈、戏剧的缺席熟视无睹,舞蹈教学在美育中有着重要作用,借助舞蹈教学进行艺术教育是美育的主要形式和重要途径之一。因此,本文将论述高等院校将舞蹈教育列入素质教育之中,并通过全校公选课的形式开展的意义与实施方法。

Aesthetics education is a kind of education that teaches the educatees with artistic beauty, natural beauty and social life beauty, in order to make them have correct aesthetic conceptions and have the ability to vibrate , appreciate and treat beauty. It plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing human quality, which other subjects can not repalce. Art education is a main way of aesthetics education. It includs four eontents; music, painting, dance and drama. Nowadays, the courses of art education in most universities focus mainly on music and painting, but turn a blind eye to the absence of dance and drama. Actually, dance teaching has an important role in aesthetics education. Starting art education with the aid of dance is one of the esthetics education＇s major forms and channels. Therefore, institutions of higher education should list dance education in quality education and promote it as public elective courses. This research will deal with the meaning and implement methods about this.
