Based on the concepts of culture and school culture, the paper the conception and connotation of alumni culture as well as its composition and property. Also it analyzes the role that the construction of alumni culture is playing in the development of vocational and technical institutes, mainly including its function on teaching, cultivating, guiding and uniting.
