he effect of TAI on the size and its distribution of the sensitization centers of the tabular microcrystal of silver halide has been studied by electron micrography.It was found that the size of the S+Au sensitization centers is concentrated at 48 nm or so.The addition of TAI narrows the S+Au center distribution and makes them more monodispersed.The monodispersity of the size distribution of sensitization centrer prolongs the photoelectron lifetime .
