Zong Baihua's esthetic spirits

本文以“同情”为核心概念，就人生意识、美学观念、艺术分析、中西比较四个方面，概要地阐释了宗白华美学精神的内涵──同情的生命。

In this paper the concept of sympathy is taken as the core for a brief exposition of contents of Zong Baihua's esthetic spirits in four aspects, namely, outlook on life, esthetic outlook, artistic analysis, and a comparison of esthetic views in these fields between Chinese and Western schools.
