摘要
用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)研究了聚苯硫醚(PPS)在高温下的化学反应和PPS与不锈钢、铸铁、A3碳钢的结合机理。结果表明,PPS在300℃以上发生了氧化交联和氧化反应,反应中有C-O-C、Ph-SO-Ph和Ph-SO2-Ph基团生成,涂层界面的Ph-S-Ph中的S有23%生成了Ph-SO-Ph和Ph-SO2-Ph。同时初步解释了PPS涂层与金属界面的结合是由于PPS中S原子的孤对电子和金属基体的Fe3+发生配位,生成具有一定数量的多核大分子配合物所致。
Chemical reactions of polyphenylene sulfide have been studied by electron spectroscopy(XPS) techniques at high temperature. The rusults show that PPS mainly undergoes two reactions, e.g. crosslinking phenylene group and oxidation of sulfide above 300 ℃. At high temperature adhesion machanism of PPS with stainless, castiron and A3 carbonsteel have been investigated by XPS. The XPS results show that oxidation and crosslinking of PPS is carried out above 300 ℃. Up to 23% of the sulfide(-S-) sulfur is oxidized to sulfoxide(-SO-) and sulfone(-SO2-) in the interfacial region. XPS results suggest that adhesion of PPS with metal interface is due to coordination between sulfides(-S-) sulfur and Fe atoms.
