Oil, water and electricity are the most important three factors in air separation plants. Scaling causes the reduction of productivity and running efficiency of the heat exchange system, even lead to parking. ＂Cold scaling＂ is a widespread trouble in the cooling water system of cryogenic air separation plant. It has troubled many of the cryogenic air separation production enterprises. By means of analyzing the cause of ＂cold scale＂, adjusting the operating conditions of the recycle cooling water system and using reasonably water treatment program and agent, the problem of ＂cold-scale＂ phenomenon in a number of production enterprises has been effectively solved.
