针对21世纪社会发展的特点,及经济、科技,人才等的竞争,论述高校体育改革的近期目标与长远目标;高校体育改革,必须与社会主义市场经济相适应,其发展趋势是:建立符合高校实际情况,充满生机和活力的高校体育运行机制。

In the light of the characteristics of society development in the twenty-first century and the competition in the economy, science and technology, as well as qualified personnel, the author expounds the near-future and long-term goals of the reform in college P. E. , and points out that the reform should be fit with the socialist market economy; the developing trend of college P. E. is to set up vigorous and living running mechanism which should accord with the practical condition.
