社会工作专业的本质是一种道德实践,其对意识形态的介入及专业实践中所涉的道德价值判断和伦理抉择使之不同于一般的专业。社会工作在专业化的进程中包涵着诸多的伦理议题,概括之为:社会工作的道德特质、伦理困境、伦理抉择等。这些构成了社会工作复杂的价值与伦理议题中的核心议题。对这些问题的探讨有助于进一步澄清社会工作的专业本质,并提升社会工作的专业化水平。

The essence of the social work profession is a kind of ethical practice. It is distinguished from other professions by the involvement of ideology and the judgement of ethical and valuable as well as the ethical decision making in the process of professional practice. During the process of specialization of social work, it includes lots of ethical issues of social work .They can be concluded as three topics： the ethical essence of social work, ethical dilemmas, ethical decision making, which constitute the key issue of the complex discussion on value and ethics in social work. Discussing these problems is good to clarify the essence of the social work and improve the specialization of social work.
