摘要
新加坡作为高密度城市国家,近40年来在西方理论的基础上,在亚洲创造性地实践与发展了一套完善的新镇体系。本文扼要介绍新加坡新镇规划经验,尤其是物质空间结构规划,以及对中国大型居住社区与城市结构规划的启示。
The high density city state of Singapore has established a particular system of new towns. Its new town planning bases itself strongly on the western theories, and has been practiced and evolved in Asia since the last four decades. This paper introduces the practices and the experiences of the new town planning in Singapore especially in terms of the physical spatial structure. Then it further explores them to inspire for large-scale residential zone and urban structure planning in China.
