摘要
荒诞喜剧是在20世纪走向成熟的一种新的喜剧类型,荒诞性、悲剧感、哲理化是其突出的三个特点。荒诞派戏剧是它在西方的代表,也是这一喜剧类型走向成熟的标志。中国当代的荒诞喜剧则显得相对贫弱。赵耀民是中国剧坛第一位自觉致力于荒诞喜剧的理论探讨和艺术实践的剧作家,他的荒诞喜剧创作独树一帜,开拓了中国当代喜剧创作的新领域。
Absurd comedy is a kind of new style of comedy with three characteristics as following: absurdity, tragic feeling and philosophy. Its representative in western world is absurd theater, which is the symbol of maturity of this comedy style. By comparison, contemporary Chinese absurd comedy is underdeveloped. Zhao Yaomin is the first Chinese playwright applying himself to theory discussion and art practice of absurd comedy. His writing of absurd comedy has exploited new domain for comedy in contemporary China.
