A Research of the Legal System for Environment Protection

我国西部地区地域广阔,气候条件复杂,动植物资源丰富,同时又有生态环境脆弱的特点。西部地区的生态环境对于全国而言具有重要意义。在西部大开发中,如何加强当地的生态环境保护一直是引起广泛关注的问题。本文以"十五"期间我国生态环境保护情况为主要分析对象,在总结该期间生态环境保护成就的基础上分析了存在的问题,并对我国西部地区生态环境保护法制建设进一步提出建议。

The western part of China takes a vast land with complex climate condition and rich resources of animals and plants. While the environment there is relatively fragile. The environment of western region is of special significant to the whole country. How to strengthen the environment protection in the course of developing the west has been the issue that causes a wide attention. This article analyzes the environment protection during the ten-fifth working, summarizes the main achievements during that period in environment protection and analyzes the issues there. In the end, the author puts forward the suggestion of protecting environment through legal system.
