Since the concept socialism characteristic of the Chinese style was initiated and defined in the report of the Seventeenth Congress of CPC, the relation of Mao Zedong thought and the theory of socialism characteristic of the Chinese style has become a hot issue in the academic circle. Various ideas were expressed, including ideas of the ＂non-inclusive relation＂, the ＂inclusive relation＂, ＂inheriting and developing＂, and ＂multiple relation＂, to name a few.
