With its popularity, the Internet plays an important role in mobilization process of collective resistance. However, study of the Internet's impacts on collective resistance is on its early stage. In collective resistance study of urban China,we know little about the Internet's political implications. Some existing studies test the relationship between the use of Internet and participation by individual survey data,or examine the Internet's roles in collective action by case study. Neither of them directly addressed the relationship between the Internet and collective resistance events. By qualitative comparative analysis (QCA),this study compares 15 cases in a systematic way,and find that online forum(BBS) does facilitate homeowners' collective resistance. It shows the mobilizing capacity of the Internet as a new mobilization structure.
