一所合并大学究竟拥有多少学科门类,与合并前相比,学校性质究竟在多大程度上发生了变化,对此,必须作出符合实际的判断,这是合并大学定位与发展的重要前提。多科性大学是介于单科性学院和综合性大学之间的过渡形态,多以综合性大学为发展取向。以此为取向的多科性合并大学,应根据大学的内在规律,将不同种类、性质的教育要素进行创新组合,使之形成有机联系的具有新质的系统。

The muhi- discipline university is the intermediate form between wing college and comprehensive university, which orientates as compre- hensive university. The multi-discipline university should constantly absorb new elements and form a new system.
