The paper discusses the main implications of control mechanisms and, on the basis of a review of the past studies upon its classification, proposes an integrated classification framework of control mechanisms, defining the mechanisms of input control, process control and output control as well as their key factors. From there, the paper investigates into the control mechanism of parent companies in logistics enterprises.
