Reinvestigation on Ethical Issues in Stem Cell Study and Clinical Use:Results and Recommendations

本研究的目的是为制订和完善我国干细胞研究和应用的伦理指导原则,公众咨询与调查研究结果表明,大多数人积极支持,但希望加强伦理规范与管理。建议在制订伦理准则时,应兼顾世界性与民族性,鼓励科学家与伦理学家携手合作,基础研究环境要宽松,临床试验和应用要规范,严格准入制度,以促进研究和应用健康发展。

Based on public consultation and field investigation, this study indicated that majority of people greatly support to establish and improve the national bioethics rules and guidelines for stem cell research and clinical used. It is recommended that during developing these rules and guidelines, equal attention should be paid to the universal bioethics principle and na- tional characteristics. Positive interaction between scientists and bioethics experts are highly encouraged;while establishing an enabling atmosphere for basic research, the stem cell clinical trials should be strictly regulated and monitored in order to promote healthy development oS stem cell study and clinical use.
