Optical active 2 methyl 2 (2 nitroethenyl) 1 tetralone and 2 methyl 2 (2 nitroethenyl) 1 indanone were synthesized via enantioselective addition elimination reaction between nitroenamine(4) and the enolate of 2 methyl 1 benzocyclone(2). The chromatographic separation yield is 17% 73%. The E configuration of the olefinic bond and the enantiomer excess(8% 60%) of products were determined by 400 MHz 1H NMR.
