摘要
在中国博大精深的文化中,重视数字的传统由来已久,数字与文学创作的关系十分密切。在民间文学的口传阶段,运用模式数字来结构情节就已经成为常用的手法。明清长篇小说经典对数字的重视,更是达到了很高的程度,其中"三"和"五"等模式数字尤其受到青睐,它在塑造人物、结构情节等方面都扮演了重要的角色。
The tradition of numeral attachment has a long history in the profound Chinese culture, and numerals have close relationships with Chinese literature. Stereotyped numerals were frequently used in the development of story line during the oral transmission stage of folk literature. This tradition was highly valued in the full-length novels during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, among which the numerals of ＂three＂ and ＂five＂ are particularly favored and fully employed in characterization and narration.
