The higher project cost is the important reason for China＇ s high housing price. This article points out a number of factors which have great impact on project cost in construction life cycle, and then analyses the reasons, and the conclusion that China＇ s construction model is the main cause for restricting and influencing the project cost is abstained. By combining China＇ s construction enterprises competitiveness in international market, the construction model that changes the traditional construction industry is pointed out, and the building＇ s project cost is controlled in a reasonable, range.
