摘要
介绍了一种基于嵌入式linux的实时图像监控系统的设计和实现方法。系统以Xscale PXA270处理器为核心,搭载USB摄像头和无线网卡构成硬件平台,以Arm-Linux为软件平台,在该平台上实现了实时图像的采集,MPEG-4压缩和3G无线传输。MPEG-4算法的采用减小了网络的压力,又节约了成本。随着3G网络的不断发展,本系统将在3G时代有着广阔的应用前景。
Introduced the design and implementation of a real-time image monitoring system based on embedded linux.The system takes Xscale PXA270 processor as the core,equipped with a USB camera and a wireless 3G card to form the hardware platform,and Arm-Linux as the software platform,on which a real-time image acquisition,MPEG-4 compression and 3G wireless transmission being implementated.The use of MPEG-4 algorithm reduced the pressure on the network,and also cost savings.With the growing of 3G networks,the system will be widely used in the 3G era.
