根据变压器功率损耗计算的基础公式，推导出变压器经济运行的临界负荷计算公式。对具有备用变压器的变电所，利用该公式的计算结果，结合实际负荷情况，选择变压器经济运行方式，从而达到经济运行的目的。

In this paper, the formula which calculates the critical loads of the transformer economical operation can be derived according to the basic formula of the transformer power losses.By using the result of this formula,the substation with the reversed transformer can achieve its economic goal with a consideration of the practical loads.
