Objective:To investigate the changes and clinical significances in serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and creatine phosphokinase (CK) levels in children with acute tetramine poisoning. Methods:Serum LDH and CK were determined by speed rate method in 116 cases and 50 healthy children served as controls. Results:Serum LDH and CK levels were 266 77±101 7 u/L and 833 74±465 21u/L respectively in patients with acute tetramine poisoning, which were markedly higher than those in normal controls(177 6±67 42u/L and 65 34±36 21u/L).Conclusions:High levels of LDH and CK might be related to the severity of disease in children with acute tetramine poisoning.Contents of serum LDH and CK can serve as useful parameters to reflect the severity of disease and predict the prognosis.
