Hyperuricemia （HUA） is a metabolic disease with close links to a number of cardiovascular dis- eases. The present study interprets the Chinese expert consensus recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of a- symptomatic hyperuricemia complicated with cardiovascular diseases and illustrates the risk factors, diagnostic cri- teria,epidemiology of causal relationship between HUA and cardiovascular diseases, clinical studies and recommendations on medical treatment of asymptomatic hyperuriccmia.
