The impacts of the development of modern information technology on every field in the society are deep and great. Journal networking is a necessary model in the development of journals under the internet environment. It attracts more and more users through its modern conditions such as large and constanfl updated information resources, easy and fast communication platform, effective inter- active space. Thus it enlarges the influential scope of the journal and at the same time affects the work of journal information collecting in academic library, which causes the changes of ideas and strategies of academic library in the construction of journal resources. 6 refs.
