Globalization and Urban Studies in Developing Countries

本世纪80年代以来，全球化的现象越来越明显，本文认为技术创新、跨国公司是全球化的主要动力机制，它们造成了资本、技术、信息、人才的流动，使世界城市体系发生了很大变化，并对发展中国家城市造成了很大的影响。在文章的最后，作者提出了全球化背景下，城市学界应该重点研究的课题。

This paper analyses the dynamics of globalization and argues that technology innovation, transnational corporation are the main dynamics that lead to flow of capital, technology, information and ability persons,which affect big cities in developing countries and bring dramatic changes to worldwide urban system.Important subjects that should be paid much more attention to in the field of urban studies are put forward in the conclusion of the paper.
