描述了英国和日本最近为接入网中的气送光纤系统开发的高密度大芯数的光纤单元和采用光纤带作子单元的光纤单元。介绍了这些光纤单元的设计要点与性能试验结果。
It describes the optical fiber unit with high density and large numbe of cores and the one employing optical fiber ribbons as sub-unit, which are developed recently by Britain and Japan for air-blown optical fiber system in the access network. The designing outlines and performance trial results of these opticalfiber units are introduced.
