概述改革开放以来我国现代悬索桥建设取得的飞跃进步和巨大成就，同时展望２１世纪超大跨度桥梁在跨海工程建设中面临的挑战和宏伟发展前景．
This paper gives a general review of the remarkable progress and great achievementsmade in the modern suspension bridge construction since the 1980's when China carried out thereformation and opening policies. It also presents both the challenges and glorious prospect of thesuper-long span bridges in sea-crossing engineering projects in the 21st century.
