Application of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis in Prevention of Slippage of Central Venous Catheter

目的探讨失效模式与效应分析(failure mode and effects analysis,FMEA)在预防中心静脉导管滑脱中的应用效果。方法在中心静脉导管留置过程中,应用FMEA对管道留置过程中有可能出现脱管的原因进行分析,计算危机值找出优先需要干预的因素,并针对各高风险因素采取相应对措施,从环节上寻找原因杜绝其脱管。结果危机值由FMEA实施前的1 874分降至429分,危机值下降率77%。结论 FMEA应用于中心静脉导管脱管中能有效降低其脱管率。

Objective To discuss the effect of failure mode and effects analysis （FMEA） in prevention of slippage of central venous catheter. Methods Potential causes to catheter slippage were analyzed during the duration of central venous catheter with FMEA and the RPN of factors was calculated for the most priority factors which need to be dealt with and high risk factors were attached great importance. Results The RPN has descended from 1 874 to 429 with a declining rate of 77%. Conclusion FMEA is effective in the prevention of slippage of central venous catheter.
