Specialty setup in higher vocational education is the foundation to foster graduates meeting the social needs. The employment status of graduates brings new challenge for specialty setup and adjustment. This paper expounds some policies and documents, analyzes China＇ s specialty setup in higher vocational colleges, and gains enlightenment to specialty setup from employment status of higher vocational graduates.
