Humanism is not only a key word in western cultural study,but also a philosophical term with abundant and miscellaneous connotations.This article sorts out several kinds of humanism from Stephen Crane＇s novels,and analyzes the factor attributing to his plural humanism,from which we can reflect the turbulent and complicated cultural context at the end of 19th century and provide an enlightenment for the current moral and cultural construction in our country.
