On the Revision of "College English Curriculum Requirements"

修订《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》是全面推广大学英语教学改革成果的一项重要工作。本文较为详细地报告了该文件的修订情况,并就"教学性质和目标"、"教学要求"、"课程设置"、"教学模式"、"教学评估"、"教学管理"以及"大学英语参考词汇表"等方面所做的调整、修改和补充作了说明。通过实施《大学英语课程教学要求》,我们国家的大学英语教学可望再上一个台阶。

This paper reports on the revision of 'College English Curriculum Requirements', a national guideline for the teaching of English in China's universities, explaining the amendments made in the sections of 'Character and Objectives of College English', 'Teaching Requirements', 'Course Design', 'Teaching Mode', 'Evaluation', 'Teaching Administration' and 'College English Vocabulary'. By implementing 'College English Curriculum Requirements', China's college English teaching is expected to be improved.
