自古蜀中多锦绣,奇山异水观不够。大自然用独特的神力将螺髻山雕琢得神姿 仙态,妖娆迷人。其壮观秀丽的山体因状若层层叠叠的金字塔、形似倒置的青螺、 貌如古代少女的玉髻,因而得名——螺髻山。
Mt. Luoji is located some 30 km south of Xichang, capital of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The mountain covers an area of 2240 sq km with most of its high peaks extending in Puge County. Mt. Luoji is called 'Anhabo' in the Yi language, which means 500 li of peaks. It presents a magnificent view. The glacial landforms of the Quaternary period in the mountain remain intact. Numerous colorful glacial lakes surrounded by large expanses of azaleas, a riot of color scatter all over the mountain. Mt. Luojin is endowed with scenery characterized by magnificence,grotesqueness, precariousness, tranquility and elegance.
