10余年前,南海市南庄镇东村乡的人们踏着春意勃发的乡间阡陌,走到了一个具有历史意义的路口——与东村一桥相连的南国陶都石湾工业区扑入他们的视野,那一瞬间东村人寻觅到了经济发展、脱贫致富的新思路。东村乡领导和广大群众立即开始了他们的创业:利用紧邻石湾陶瓷工业区和陶瓷产品贸易集散地的优势,发展自己的陶瓷工业。经过10年的艰苦努力,东村的陶瓷企业从只有一条仿古龙窑的小厂发展成为了规模宏大的陶瓷集团。集团属下有高级无釉砖厂、高级彩釉砖厂、建陶二厂、高级墙地砖厂、工艺美术厂、高级瓷质砖厂、装饰陶瓷厂、管椿厂、明华陶瓷厂、华润陶瓷砖厂。集团的20多条生产线,绝大部分生产设备从德国、意大利引进,具有90年代国际先进水平;生产的各款优质彩釉砖、无釉砖、瓷质外墙砖、西式与日式玻璃瓦及园林陶瓷等,近年来先后荣获"省优"、"部优"称号。
Nanhai Dongchun Ceramics Group was established in 1982.Located in the management dis- trict of East Village,Nanzhuang Town,Nanhai,it connects with the famous ceramic capital in the Southern China--Shiwan by a bridge.After many years' hardworking,this group grows into a relatively large enterprises group in our country with advanced equipment imported from Ger- many,Italy beginning from an ancient kiln.Its series products such as high--grade wall and ground brick,imitation of ceramics,Western glazed tile,Japaneses style glazed tile,cement pipe pile and so on won Superior Quality Product Prize issued by Ministry of Light Industry and the province,National AA Product and enjoy good reputation among the customers.This group car- ried out the complete set of computerized control with excellent control level;the enterprise won Advanced Enterprise at provincial level and Excellent Enterprise with Comprehensive Quality Control,etc.
