As the first translating tide in the Chinese history, the translation of Buddhist scriptures played a significant role. The establishment of a scientific translating center system ensured the success of the translation of Buddhist, thanks to its systematic organization, detailed job divisions as well as the training of translators. This paper looks at the implications of Buddhist scriptures translation upon English translation of Chinese Classics.
